We Are Going To Dublin! How We Found The Cheapest Deal!
00:00:00At the start of 2025, I said I wanted to travel more! Luckily, it seems like my goals are coming true, as I have some very exciting plans coming up! Having booked up my big 30th birthday adventure, I thought today would be a fun day to share what I will be doing and how I booked it for a super affordable price!
Good Morning Lovelies,
July may be six months away, however, when it hosts a big event, plans need to be made early. I will be turning 30 this year and I’m pretty excited about it. To me, age is just a number, the amount of times you have gone round the sun. Yet, turning 30 is an experience that I wanted to cherish.
I can’t wait to say goodbye to my awful 20s and say hello to a new decade. Of course, I wanted to do this in the place that I love the most. Dublin! To me, Ireland and the Irish are the greatest in the world. Honestly, when I turned 21 there, I didn’t want to come home. It is the place that lots of my core memories have been built.
After lots of debating and seeking advice, we finally booked up our girlie trip and I can’t wait to share with you all the madness of it. Starting with our booking process. We asked a lot of travel agents. Searched all over the internet for deals. We even tried to do a bit of detective work to find out what happened to the apartment we stayed in before.
However, we ended up booking up our trip with British Airways, after being encouraged to do so by our local travel agents. Having found the deal myself, I went to them to get a comparison. Whilst there, they told me that when BA have a seat sale, it is a lot cheaper than anything any travel agent can offer.
We ended up saving over £200 by booking it ourselves at home. For four days, we paid under £700 for the two of us, which included luggage, return flights and an apartment in the city centre. Having everything sorted in one go for a super affordable price made it such a relaxing experience. It helped us to get excited straight away.
It is always good to shop around lovelies, especially online and in shops, to find the best deals and to gain new knowledge. I learnt a lot from the travel agents about BA and also LoveHolidays, who are great for deals but apparently not the best for customer service matters. Before the end of January, definitely take a look at BA for deals, like we were advised lovelies to help you save if you can.
Over the next few weeks and months, I will continue to update you on how our preparations are going! We are coming for you Dublin!
