Christmas can be so manic that there will always be last minute jobs. However, for me, it is those tasks that make the big day even more special. It’s these moments that add a sense of festive magic! Therefore, I thought it would be nice to share a few ideas on how you can make your Christmas even better when short on time!

For many of us, Christmas is the most magical time of the year! However, it can also be a time when we see how quickly the days seem to pass. Before you know it everything seems to be having to be done in a rush, which leads to stress and panicking. 

However, those last minute moments could actually be the most magical moments of all. Allowing us to make memories of the times when things weren’t quite ready or right, these become the things that make us all smile in the future.

Bake Your Favourite Festive Biscuits: With all that rushing around, you will definitely need fuel! The festive kind in the form of biscuits galore. Whether they are cinnamon or gingerbread, take a moment to bake a batch to eat as you go along. You could even save some and make hand crafted gifts or desserts too. 

Create A Special Christmas Playlist: Forgot to pick out a playlist for Christmas dinner or worried about a family argument over what song to play? Take five minutes and select all your favourites that can be played during dinner or when the party really begins. If you are the host then the songs are definitely up to you! 

Produce Your Own Presents: If the biscuit idea wasn’t enough for you lovelies, then there are lots of homemade gifts that you can do in no time at all. Make homemade vouchers gifting your talents. Find something that you could regift. Create a chocolate gift at home. Whatever you do, the DIY touch will definitely mean a lot.

Do An Unordinary Dining Table Theme: Forget trying to find all the right matching cutlery and placemats. The idea of Christmas is just to be together, so forget about making it perfect. Use odd plates, glasses and cutlery on the table and appreciate the fun look it gives. After all, the cracker is the best bit of the Christmas dinner table!
