The Hard Rock Cafe In Manchester Review - Including The Messi Menu!
00:00:00The blog went football mad on Sunday! Not only were we invited to experience the wonderful National Football Museum, but the evening brought with it the amazing opportunity to enjoy the wonderful Hard Rock Cafe in Manchester to celebrate the launch of their brand new Messi menu! Find out what we thought about it and all of what we tucked deliciously into here!
Good Morning Lovelies,
From walking around a museum to sitting down to a superb sporting dinner, Sunday was an incredible football filled day for our little bloggers! Not only did they visit the National Football Museum but they were also treated to the chance to try the newest Messi built menu at the Hard Rock Cafe in Manchester too! And they absolutely loved it!
Arriving at the maroon coloured entrance at The Printworks in Manchester, the boys raced to enter the restaurant, where they found Messi’s face starring back at them. Slotting into a booth, surrounded by musical memorabilia, the waiters were incredibly friendly and happy to help us as much as they possibly could. Handing over the menu’s, they highlighted the children’s Messi menu, which the boys were eager to pick from.
At £11.75, the Captain Messi Kids menu included an entree, side, drink and dessert at a small extra fee. Plus, a mini collectible Messi toy as well! After opting for Messi’s Golden Chicken Burger and Messi’s Burger, both with chips and sauces, the toys and drinks were handed over to be enjoyed whilst they waited. And for us adults, it was time to get our own toys in the form of starters from the Legendary menu.
Opting for the Fried Chicken Sliders, we found ourselves faced with three mini burgers made up of fried chicken, jalapeño coleslaw, pickles and spicy honey, alongside our second starter of Loaded Tots, which were made up of golden potatoes, pulled pork, cilantro, pickled onions, lime crema and a beer cheese sauce. Both were incredibly delicious and packed with tons of flavour. Sizing was incredible and you could easily have them as a main too.
However, even though our bellies were filling up, we weren’t going to let that stop us from enjoying the delicious mains we had all chosen. Along with the boys burgers, us adults had gone for the classic Smashed Burger, made up of two smashed and stacked burgers, onions, tomatoes, pickles and the iconic Hard Rock Cafe sauce, all in an artisan bun. One of the dishes came with the seasoned fries, however, we opted for the cheese and bacon fries for the second burger, both of which we shared.
With all of us tucking in, the moans of delight could be heard around us. The burgers, even the mini ones in the boys meals were plump, juicy and full to the brim with flavour. The cheesy chips topped off the dishes perfectly, with the gooey melted baked loveliness offsetting the burgers well. The boys loved the tastes of their burgers too, eating them up quickly, which made us super happy. You could tell that the burgers were like nothing that we had before and made to be a quality meal.
After finishing up our mains, we weren’t sure if we could fit in a dessert, however, after spotting the ice creams, we couldn’t help ourselves. For us adults, we decided on the huge Hot Fudge Brownie Sundae, whilst the little ones enjoyed the Messi Fudge Sunday and the classic chocolate milkshake. However, the did tuck into ours as well!
Overall, the meal hit the back of the net incredibly well! All of us said that we would happily go back, with so much more on the menu that we all want to try! Every dish was huge, with portions being just what we wanted to keep us full on a busy day. The boys loved the Messi inspired meals and toys. So much so that they have put them up in their rooms to remember such a good day!
We are so grateful that we were gifted this opportunity and hope that many of you will pop down and enjoy a meal soon! You will be amazed by the top scoring foods that you find lovelies! I promise!
