If you walk into our kitchen, no matter what time of the year, we have savers on our worktops. And honestly, they are some of the best items my mum has ever brought for it! I do everything on ours and love how well they make our surfaces remain. Plus, they make cleaning up a breeze.

Focusing a lot on Christmas, the team asked if I would like to put one of their new worktop savers to the test before the big festive season begins. And of course, I wanted to! 

With two designs to pick from, I opted for the chilli printed one, which arrived swiftly. Made from super sturdy plastic, the item costs £10.99 alongside the price of the kits, and is a piece of their premium range. Bigger than I thought, I placed it onto the side of our kitchen that we used the most, which was next to our electric cooker and oven, as well as our air fryer. 

Over the next few days, it was tested with chopping vegetables, having hot pans and pots on it and for using as a sandwich board. Plus, we also popped our tongs and spoons on it to stop stains and spills on our work surfaces. 

The board was brilliant and we really loved it! Whilst it might not look festive, it really made a difference and we have continued to use it full time now. We love the bright colours of the board and how much easier cooking has become from it, along with our other savers. You can never have too many after all!
