Blogmas Day 14: Make Hundreds Of Christmas Trees With This Easy Decoration

00:00:00

Get the sequins, glue and paper plates out lovelies because today’s Blogmas post is going all Blue Peter on us! With many of us going back in time with our decorations, it is time to head back to school where a paper plate could become a decoration of true wonder! Find out how you can make a real masterpiece for Christmas right here!

Good Morning Lovelies,

When I was at school, every year, we would have to decorate a paper plate to celebrate the festive season. The best ones would win a prize, which was often a big selection box and voucher. Each December, me and my mum would sit and decorate the plate for hours in hopes of winning, which we did in my final year, as my mum came up with the most beautiful design if I do say so.

Since then, I have tried to keep that magic alive by bringing it back to life at the school. Something that was a huge success! Decorating a plate can be super fun, easy and creative as possible, so I thought I would share with you all a fun design that you can and little ones can make in five minutes. You will have a new style tree in no time with this project…

What You Will Need:

One Paper Plate Per Tree

Green Paint, Colouring Pens or Pencils or Crayons

Glue or Tape

Sequins, Mini Pom Poms or Stickers To Decorate

Star Stickers or Sequins

Scissors

What To Do:

Start by folding the paper plate in half before cutting out a triangle shape to make the tree shape.

Take your plate and colour or paint the tree green. Allow the paint to dry and the pens to set before decorating.

Once ready, go wild with the sequins, pom poms and stickers all over the tree to create a decorated look.

Place a star sticker on top of the tree to finish it off. Your tree is now complete!

If you want to show off your new fancy tree then you can also pop a hole in the top and add a fancy ribbon to it to hang it up. You could even make a number of them and make a mobile or garland lovelies! You can never have too many Christmas trees after all!
