My September 2024 Monthly Favourites!

00:00:00

September was another challenging month, with unexpected hospital trips and festive madness! Whilst I wouldn’t say it was the best, there were many items and events that did make it a special one for me! Something I’m grateful for because during all the hard moments they were able to save the day! Find out what my favourite things from the month were here!

Good Morning Lovelies,

Right now lovely, I am writing a whole bunch of blog posts. Doing so has got me really reflecting over what I did in September. At the start of the month, I had another scary experience regarding my ongoing health issues, so I spent most of September in a constant state of worrying.

However, I did find some big and little joys within the month that helped to distract me. These included…

My Favourite App: Yoto - After discovering this brand at The Big Christmas Press Show, I have found the app a true gem. Providing an easy way to monitor and run the Yoto Player, I can grab my tablet, open the app, pick the sound to stream to it and then set a timer to get it to stop. I truly love it so much!

My Favourite Film or TV Show: Agatha All Along - At the time of writing this, I have been binging this as soon as the episodes come out because I am truly obsessed. Honestly, I want to sign up to a coven, however, the creepy aspects of this Marvel magic have stopped me.

My Favourite Food: Aldi Rice Krispies - Not a new one here, but a classic for me, I absolutely adore the Aldi version of Rice Krispies. With everything going on, I’ve found myself relying a lot on comfort foods and these with a dollop of jam or drizzle of honey and warm milk in the mornings has been wonderful.

My Favourite Beauty Item: Simple Protecting Light Moisturiser with SPF 15 - I’ve been looking for a sensitive moisturiser with a built in SPF for a long time, as I’m becoming more and more aware of the importance of looking after my skin right now. This is super light but very effective at both treating my skin and protecting it.

My Favourite Podcast: Staying Relevant - Sam Thompson and Pete Wicks have been providing my very anxious head with the most perfect distractions. From mad listeners stories to Pete’s dry humour that fits with mine perfectly, it’s refreshing and funny from start to finish.

My Favourite Experience: The Big Christmas Press Show - This event is by far my favourite event every year! I love taking my mum for a festive spree, where we get to see everything that is coming out this Christmas. My favourite time of the year!

What were some of your favourite things from September lovelies? Let me know!
