My October 2024 Food Finds!
00:00:00Food! It is definitely getting to that time of the year where it is all that we think about! Right now,I am trying to find foods that will help with my everlasting health conditions. Thankfully, October saw the return of one of my favourites, as well as some newbies! Find out what I enjoyed during the spookiest month of the year right here!
Good Morning Lovelies,
Who has already started stocking up their food cupboard for Christmas? My mum has put a ban on lots of things in our home already. I honestly think she would put a lock around her cheeses if she could.
Luckily, we eat very different things, with some new finds being made in October. Below are five of them that I couldn’t wait to share with you all. I hope you can enjoy some of these wonders as well as me in the future…
Aldi Multigrain Berry Shapes Cereal, £1.79: I used to love the Kelloggs versions of the berry mix, however, they stopped making them a while ago. Thankfully, my heroes Aldi have stepped up and made some to match. I can’t wait to try these as a biscuit snack in the future when I feel brave enough too.
Iceland Mixed Frozen Country Vegetables, £2: I am a sucker for a baby carrot, so to find a frozen vegetable mix that features these instead of the sliced or weirdly cubed ones has been a real help. Plus, at only £2, you get lots for your money.
Aldi Blueberries, £1.69: Oddly, I went through a stage where I couldn’t stand blueberries. However, I’ve got back into them recently and Aldi does some big ones for a really good price. I love a blueberry with a crunch and these have this down.
Bisto Vegan Onion Gravy, £3: I will be honest and say that I’m still not sure about this gravy yet, however, I am proud of myself for trying something new! It doesn’t have much of an onion taste to me, however, it might be better with some real onions cooked in it.
Aldi Set Honey, £1.45: IT IS BACK! Along with Rowse’s, this is my most favourite honey of all time. For a while, you couldn’t find it anywhere, but thankfully it’s back. And you can bet that I have stocked up, as I simply adore it on crumpets and bagels!
What good food finds did you uncover during October lovelies?
