Whenever it was raining outside, whether I was at school or at home, I would love to build a den. Still now, I love that cosy feeling that being cocooned in something snug and warm brings. Often grabbing the sheets and blankets from around my house, the dens would take up the whole of our living room, probably causing my mum a lot of stress, for hours of fun.

The fantastic team at Crazy Forts have come up with the solution, as their frames allow for sheets to be placed easily onto them to make the best homes that won’t fall down. I truly wish that this had been around when I was younger, as the joy I have had as an adult with it is endless. Definitely one that the whole family can get behind!

Harry Potter Waffle Maker, £24.99: Whilst this waffle maker may look small, it truly has the magic behind it to make some mighty feasts. Using homemade batter, you can create some Harry Potter delights in a matter of moments. Perfect to take into your fort with you so that you don’t have to share! Giving this at Christmas will make that the whole family can have a great breakfast every day of the holidays. 

These are only two of the items that DKB have made this Christmas with so many more to pick from. However, these didn’t just stand out to me because I was gifted them, but because of the way they brought me back to my childhood. Honestly, the forts have been a real dream and I now love knowing that if I want to escape to another world, I can just pop this up.
