In our house, how we look after our hair is probably the thing we talk about most in terms of beauty products and self care! Especially in the case of my mum, who is suffering from terrible breakage since starting the menopause. There so, we are always seeking out products that may help her, which led us to the wonders that is Naturtint!

After skincare, we love to find hair products that give our scalps, roots and tips the best care possible. Both myself and my mum have had trouble with the condition of our hair. For me, it’s been the damage that my eating disorder has caused, as it’s left it thinner and dryer than before. In the case of my mum, she is struggling with breakage and hair loss due to the menopause. 

This has led to the pair of us trying and seeking many products that are said to help. Yet, they haven’t always been winners. Therefore, when Naturtint got in touch after I reached out to brands, I was interested to see how their items could help. Especially in the case of my mum. 

Formulated to help product hair as it ages, the company use natural products to give the best results in beating dry or damaged hair. Kindly gifting me their shampoo, conditioner and Anti-Ageing CC Cream to test, I handed them to my mum for this one, due to her being so worried about her locks recently. 

After finishing up her previous products, she headed into the shower to put the shampoo and conditioner to the test first. Said to strengthen, rejuvenate and fix colour damage, the shampoo was super creamy and smelt lush. Honestly, I couldn’t smell the scent of it through our bathroom door. Made up of organic lavender floral water, sunflower seed extracts, rock rose and lemon fruit waters, the cleansers foamed quickly according to my mum, leading to a really wonderful massaging experience. 

Really gentle on her scalp, she also told me that she didn’t lose as much hair in the shower, as she had with her other one. Something she thinks was down to the other possibly being too heavy for her hair. After washing it all out, she then applied the conditioner, which was just as light but still effective.

Using the same ingredients, the conditioner was perfectly applied, without having to use a lot to make it work. Automatically, my mum said she could feel any knots loosening, which she knew would make the brushing process afterwards gentler on her hair. Plus, the conditioner smelt just as good. 

Upon finishing in the shower, she headed to the mirror next, where she dried her hair with a towel, before applying the Anti-Ageing CC Cream to her roots before combing through. She then let it dry naturally to allow the cream to fully settle in. All day she ran her fingers through her hair because she couldn’t get over how soft it was. 

She felt like the product had given her hair a new lease of life and even after now having used it for two weeks she still loves it. I’m yet to give it a go myself, however, after hearing her really praise it, I’m going to have to steal it back soon. Naturtint have truly made a life changing product in our lives it seems!
