Over the years, I’ve tried many make up brands, however, I haven’t branched out much into the vegan sector! This changed recently though, as I was kindly sent some fantastic products from Be At One to try and I have to say I was very impressed! The brand is on a mission to change the world and I think they will do it!

Make up has always been a sector within the beauty world that I have struggled with! Often I find myself having to do a lot of research about products I find before using them. Especially as someone who has sensitive combination skin. There so, when I find a brand that states the hard work it is doing to change the game, I want to know more. 

Having put a shout out out to help me discover new brands, I was kindly contacted by the brand Be At One (https://www.be-at-one.com/). Making vegan beauty products, the company create 100% certified vegan, cruelty free cosmetics that contain no parabens and are priced at an affordable amount for all, whilst retaining a fantastic quality. 

From the minds of Heather Mills and Milena Thacker, the two who have proudly lived vegan lifestyles, have put their heart and souls into the products and you can seriously tell. When the products landed on my desk, I instantly loved the packaging. The fun characters that display the different workers of the company transported me back to when packaging or brands used to have fun with their products. Something I really enjoyed. 

Having sent me three products to try, I was kindly gifted the brand’s Be Eye-Catching Mascara, £16 (https://www.be-at-one.com/collections/eyes/products/be-eye-catching-mascara), Be Fabulous Lip Gloss, £13 (https://www.be-at-one.com/collections/lips/products/be-fabulous-lip-gloss) and their Be Bold Eyeshadow Palette, £19 (https://www.be-at-one.com/collections/eyes/products/be-bold-eyeshadows). Upon opening the box for the mascara, I loved the smooth way that the mascara popped out of the tube. 

Made to be long-lasting, the mascara includes avocado and argan oils, as well as aloe Vera to present a smudge free application that doesn’t flake and isn’t too heavy on the lash. Popping it onto my lashes, I could see the difference instantly. Popping a beautiful dark colouring, my lashes looked fuller automatically, an element that lasted all day. With no need to reapply, I could tell that this meant the product would last months, which made me even happier, as it meant I would save a lot of money. 

Having been so impressed with the mascara, I decided to elevate it by trying the eyeshadow palette next. Made up of five different matte colours, in shades called Liquorice, Coffee Bean, Butterscotch, Sweet Biscuit and Frosting, they presented the perfect colours for a wonderful smoky eye. So, it was only right to get to work trying to recreate one. 

Being careful of my fresh mascara, I took each colour and carefully blended it onto my lid. The whole time I did this, the mascara stayed put and the shadow didn’t slide or move in a way I didn’t want it to. 

Again, the palette had argan and avocado oils in it, either a blend of aloe vera, which you could tell, as the application was so smooth. Not heavy, beautifully mixed and easily popping the colour of my eyes better, I really loved this palette and the results it made. As someone who loves their eyes and caring for them, I would happily praise both products to others. 

Finally, to complete the look, I took out the Be Fabulous lip gloss to apply. Reminding me of the classic glosses I used to love, the easy to apply brush popped out upon unscrewing. All to reveal a non-sticky pink colour that was so easy to swipe across each lip. 

Upon doing so, the colour popped, whilst leaving a soft feeling across each lip. Added a brightness to the dark eye look, it was a really wonderful product to try! It reminded me of the glosses I used to wear as a teenager and as someone who loves nostalgia it became an instant winner to me. 

Overall, I was so impressed with the Be At One (https://www.be-at-one.com/) brand! You can tell that the brand has worked hard to make a natural product that helps the body instead of harming it. I was so happy to finally find a brand that wants to make a difference in a big way and I truly trust this one.
