With autumn filling the air, it’s the perfect time to decorate our homes! However, it doesn’t have to be with some massive elaborate piece. Simple items can make a big difference and this homemade decoration is proof of this! Find out how to make this super cute fairy light piece right here!

Good Morning Lovelies, 

For me, the sight of fairy lights shining in the darkness of night are a real wonder. As soon as the sun goes down and those cosy little lights twinkle away, I feel so happy that I can’t help but want to decorate my home full of them. Do you know what I mean? 

It can be a bit hard though to think up creative ways to do so though, which is why I wanted to share this super easy decoration with you all. Using only three items that you probably have lying around your home or can source from outside, it will make a real difference in just a few minutes…

Materials

One Large Glass Jar

Four or Five Pinecones

Battery Operated Fairy Lights

Method

Start by making sure that your glass jar is nice and clean by washing away any smudges or dust shards. 

Taking the jar, fill the bottom or it with a few of the pine ones in an arrangement you like. 

Around the pinecones, place the fairy lights, before tucking the battery pack underneath the pinecones, so that it can’t be seen. Once the lights are how you like them, turn them on. You can also add ribbons or twine to the neck of the jar too if you want to add a more rustic look.

You will now have a super cosy autumn filled light that can be placed on the middle of a table, on a fireplace or simply next to your bed to give off a warm glow.
