TheFaceHub Are Changing The Eye & Lip Care Game This Summer

00:00:00

To me, the eyes really are the windows to the soul! I adore the way that a simple glance can make the world of difference. As does the shape of a brow or a flick of mascara for many of us! TheFaceHub is a brand who knows this and so I had to put their super hard working eye products to the test!

Good Morning Lovelies,

Just a few weeks ago, I was being pretty vain and looking at my eyes in the mirror, whilst cleaning my teeth. I’ve always loved the way my eyes are. The shape, colour and eyebrow arch. They are probably the most pampered feature on my body because I love them so.

When I used to get ready for a night out, I loved to curl my naturally dark eyelashes right up to my eyebrows. The flutter against my forehead made me oddly very happy. However, since those days the eyebrow, eyelash and overall make up game has changed.

After seeking out brands to help me understand a bit more of how the market is changing, the wonderful team at TheFaceHub reached out, offering me the chance to review their exciting eye care products, including an exclusive set of new lip care goodies.

Opening the letterbox sized black box, I unwrapped their fantastic FixUp Extreme Hold Brow Balm (£12.99), LashUp Eyelash Serum (£24.99) and HoldUp Brow Sculpt (£10.99) to start. Taking out the sculpting brush to begin my tests, I wanted to know what it was going to do. With a metal edging, the tool smoothed my brows down, whilst lifting my lashes easily, an element I just loved. However, it wasn’t until the big tools got used that the game changed.

Whipping out the Eyelashes Serum next, I read and followed the application process throughout. After washing my face at night, I applied a small amount of the serum along my upper lash line. Having used only a small amount, I didn’t need to wipe off any excess as advised, before popping on my eye mask for the night.

Upon waking up, I washed my face and found that my lashes instantly looked healthier. They had a brighter glow to them that popped out their natural colour. I looked like I had mascara on, but I literally had nothing. Plus, my lashes felt stronger too, which is something I had really been hoping the trial would do.

With brighter, fuller lashes, it was time to move onto my eyebrows next. Normally, I use a micro blade to shape them, before brushing them down and shaping them. Yet, after getting a serious scar along one of them, it has been quite hard to tame them at times. Thankfully, I think I’ve found the answer at long last. TheFaceHub’s Holdup Brow Sculpt allowed me to get my brows to finally settle down.

After washing my face in the morning, I pulled out the little brush that comes with the serum and run it along my brows. I then carefully pressed my finger along my brow to help smooth and stick them down. I did give them a bit of a fluffy look as well though at times. Throughout the day, the hairs stayed well fixed and even when I pulled tops on and off my head, they stuck down instead of trying to audition for a new Cadbury’s eyebrow advert. I was so impressed with the ease of using this product and how subtle but effective the difference was. If you need to take the little manes then this is a fantastic product to try.

Moving onto the next product, which did a similia job, but focused more on the laminated look, I trialled the Fixup Balm. With a small applicator in the box, I used it to push a small amount along each brow, after washing my face in the morning. Having been advised to push the brows down as I went, I used the brush to do this, leaving them well attached to my face. However, not in a weird way. Using the brush to get the looking wanted, they stayed tame but fluffy. The perfect look for me done in a matter of minutes.

Overall, I was really impressed with the makeup range they have created for the eyes. Even after only a few applications, my eyelashes look shinier, healthier and stronger, whilst my brows are now at the top of their game. Having never heard of the brand before, I will definitely be investing in more items by them, including their exciting new lip range.

Kindly, the team allowed me to sample them before their middle of August release. With coconut and watermelon inspired scents/tastes, TheFaceHub has created a Lip Sleeping Mask and Secret Lip Scrub to help heal those summer burns and winter freezes that lead to splits and dryness with ease.

To start the trial, I decided to use the coconut inspired scrub to help remove any dry skin on my lips that may have prevented the balm from working. Using the instructions on the box, I applied a warm cloth to my lips for five minutes to help soften them, before taking a scoop of the scrub onto my finger and massaging it into my lips until the sugar crystals had dissolved. I then removed any leftover remains with a warm cloth. This led me onto the next step, which was applying the sleeping mask to them.

Again, I used the coconut scent, as it reminds me so much of summer. Taking out the small applicator brush, I popped the right amount for me on it, before using my fingers to rub the balm in. Then I simply left it to work its magic overnight. Both products allowed for me to wake up with smooth, baby soft lips. When it comes to winter, a time when I am prone to split lips, I will be using these beauties a lot, as they truly have healing qualities to them.

It is truly safe to say that after a wonderful set of eye products, TheFaceHub’s lip game is going to be just as strong. And I can’t wait for you all to try it! I feel so honoured to have been able to try all of the items I did. Honestly, I can’t thank the team at the company enough.

My eyelashes look lush and my lips are definitely loving life. If you would like to get some of the items or find out more lovelies, head to their online shop, which has an even bigger range on offer. You will honestly love it!
