Get ready to shake, stir and sip the rest of the summer!
Good Morning Lovelies,
When you think of tomatoes in summer, you probably find yourself thinking about spaghetti bolognaise or the fresh fruit in a salad. However, the real winner for those round red balls is a good Bloody Mary. Yet, having too many of them can leave you feeling a bit worse for wear.
There so, when I was asked if I would like to trial Marty’s Virgin Bloody Mary, in both the p spicy and mild forms, I quickly said yes! Made using only the finest tomatoes, the once garage brewed drink, is now a blooming business. Making only the finest alcohol free tipples, the vegan tomato juice, can be enjoyed neat or with an added splash of your favourite mixer in it. However, for the purpose of this review, we had it neat.
Popping open the mild flavour first, the drink easily poured into the glass, showing a silky finish that looked incredible. Vibrant in colour, it matched it in taste too! You could taste the hints of the apple cider vinegar, which it also contained, giving it the alcohol like burn. It was the perfect kicker for a super gorgeous and rich drink.
Trying the mild flavour and getting such an incredible outcome left us wanting more, so we prised open the cap of the spicy one. Upon opening the bottle, we could£ tell that there was added elements to this bottle. You could smell the hints of the mustard, but it didn’t put you off.
Upon the first sip, the drink flowed down easily again, however, this bottle felt like one that you had to take your time with. One that you had to taste and embrace the spice of. We really liked this, to the point that we wondered if we could use it as a pasta sauce, if we mixed it with some cornflour to thicken it up.
Out of the two, the mild one was our ultimate favourite and we all agreed in our house that we would definitely be buying one of the big bottles again for future family events. It looks so good and tastes even better, leaving us recommending Marty’s to all! You would be a red tomato after all lovelies if you missed out on it aha!
