What makes a good burger? Or a hot dog? Or any good meal better? Ketchup! Especially if it comes out of a glass bottle! There is something so satisfying about that first refreshing hit of tomato flavour in your mouth! A fact that makes the new sauce from Tracklements so excited! You won’t be able to stop enjoying it once it’s been opened!

Ketchup has always been a staple in our house! In fact, it has probably been a staple in all of our homes. Whether it be a well-known brands version or an unbranded supermarket kind, there is always a good time to pop it on a meal! I’m a fan of it on broccoli and used to love it on just plain rice and macaroni cheese controversially too! 

Whenever I had it though, nothing compared to the kind that you get in a glass bottle. I don’t know why but it just tasted so much better. A fact that made getting the Tracklements Proper Tomato Ketchup even special. Full of the purest Mediterranean tomatoes, the perfect blend of spices and a gorgeous distinct mix of BBQ like smoky notes, this ketchup is honestly something else. 

Upon being gifted the item, I was overjoyed at the size of it. Ketchup is something I am so proud to have conquered, so when I have the stuff, I like to pop a bit all over. As does my mum. As mentioned before, I’m quite happy to have it on any kind of veg, so I decided to pop it over my broccoli and vegetable shepherds pie. 

Pouring a small bit on first to taste it, I scooped up the butternut squash mashed topping that I had made and took a bite. Instantly, I got the sense that this ketchup had been made with customers wants and needs having to be met. The flavours were very much like what you would find if you had made the recipe at home. 

Having been inspired by me, my mum followed suit the next day and used the ketchup on her mash potato and sausages. Adding it all over, with an extra bit on the side to dip her sausages into, she agreed that the tomatoes were super rich, flavoursome and definitely elevated in a very successful way. She enjoyed it so much that she had it again at the weekend. This time in a classic bacon sandwich, which she also loved. 

Whether it was the hot weather or not, this ketchup made every dish we had and have had it with since so much better. The product is a premium one, but with an affordable price tag to it. Cheaper than leading brands, Tracklements has proven that fantastic quality can be found for less. We will definitely be investing in this one in the future! It’s a summer BBQ must have lovelies!
