Ben & Jerry’s Sundaes In The Park 2024! Here’s What Happened!
00:00:00Everyone knows that the blog is a super fan of Ben & Jerry’s, so when we were kindly invited along to enjoy their Sundaes In The Park event, we happily agreed! With the sun shining down, the ice cream being scoops and the music playing, it was a day of pure bliss for all involved! Find out what happened here!
Good Morning Lovelies,
When it comes to ice cream, there has always been a firm favourite in our house! As the daughter of an Italian ice cream man, I know a good brand and scoop when I see one, as does the rest of my family, so when the words, Ben & Jerry’s, gets mention, we know that something glorious is about to land on our tastebuds!
As a teenager, I would religiously head to Clapham Common to experience their festival, which sadly disappeared during the pandemic. However, the company is bringing the event back in a new and invigorated way. Yes, there is still plenty of ice cream to enjoy, but now it is more open to everyone in the UK to taste, as the event tours up and down the country.
This year, it landed in Chiswick, London, and to mark the occasion and my love for the brand, the team invited me along as a special VIP. And of course, I said yes! Heading out on the hot sunny July day that the event landed on, we embarked onto the beautiful Chiswick House & Gardens where the Sundaes In The Park festival was being held.
Upon arrival, we were greeted by our hosts, who led us into a special VIP area. Setup like a campsite, to celebrate their new Marshmallows & S’mores flavour, the building had a super sweet set up. A picture of creator Jerry seated in a chair that had been recreated in the room. It made the room and event instantly feel homely and we couldn’t wait to get out into the gardens to see more.
With our special guest lanyards round our necks and a wonderful Aperol Spritz in hand, our eyes instantly fell onto the ice cream van that was just outside the doors. Scoops of their wonderful flavours were on offer for all, yet, if you were a hardcore fan then you were skipping that to start with and heading straight to the half pint servings.
Yes, a half pint of ice cream was being handed out and honestly it was like a gift from the gods. Sitting down to enjoy it, we set out the challenge to try as many flavours as possible. However, we also took the time to say a special thanks to the flavours that once were in the dedicated Flavour Graveyard.
With plenty of ice cream already settling into our stomachs, we decided to finally head onto the main field to enjoy the music from bands all over the world. Sundaes In The Park was created to not only celebrate the best ice cream worldwide but also to help raise money for dedicated charities and to raise the profiles of incredible musicians and artists. It’s an event that highlights the life-changing work that both Ben and Jerry have done from the start.
After a spot of music, we had a look around, spotting food and drink stalls, merchandise tents and entertainments wondering around. Every face we encountered had a smile on it and it made my teenage heart beat a little bit more with joy.
It’s always amazing when I get the chance to work with brands but Ben & Jerry’s is a leading love of mine. I’m so grateful for the kindness we received today and hope to share even more of it with you lovelies soon!
Honestly, wherever they decide to host the event next year, try and go! You will feel so loved, as the team go above and beyond to deliver a festival unlike anything else! Plus, when there is endless amounts of Ben & Jerry’s, how can you ever go wrong? You just can’t!
