Being able to smell is important to all of us. It allows us to enjoy those amazing smells that fill our hearts with joy. However, being able to smell also enables something even bigger within us. Our sense of taste! When we smell something, our tastebuds come alive and we can instantly think about how it will taste upon taking a bite. 

That freshly baked bread smell in supermarkets. Popcorn at the cinema. Chocolate in a sweet shop. All of them create a must have effect in our mouths that none of us can help. And why would we want to when they are all so joyous? Using this technology and information has helped to craft something that is super healthy for us all. The Air Up bottle and pods! 

Every day, we are all encouraged to drink more water. However, I will be the first to admit that it is pretty boring. Unless crisp and chilled, it doesn’t taste as good as a flavoured kind. I am the first to want to put a drop of squash in my bottle. Yet, even this can get a bit bland, as the flavours are always the same. Though, this isn’t the case with Air Up. 

Coming in a multitude of colours and styles, the bottles hold up to 800ml of water, which is easy to take with you thanks to the portable handle. On the lid of each bottle, a range of scented pods can be applied, which helps to give you that flavourful hit every time you take a sip. It is real magic in a mouthful and I have to say I couldn’t believe it. 

In our house, we all suffer from sinus issues and for me, my sense of taste has been very dull or non-existent for a long time due to my enlarged turbinates. Yet, as soon as I popped on one of the pods, I could instantly smell the Orange Kola scent that it was permeating the air with. It smelt so much like I had opened a bottle of the fizzy kind. Though, these tasted so much better than it! Plus, each pod is sugar free, so you know your teeth are in safe hands. 

Unable to resist the taste that the scent created, I actually found myself refilling the bottle throughout the day, which very rarely happens. It was such a breeze to do though, especially knowing that each pod lasts for around five days, as it works on around five litres of water each time. If you do get bored of the taste though, you can swap the pods and they won’t be affected, meaning you can go back to them again, until they are all used up. 

With so many scents available, I have been looking up and down on the website to add to my collection, as the starting price point of £5 and the longevity of each pod means that I will be saving money in the long run. Better health and better wealth is always something that makes me very happy to be a part of and Air Up are definitely helping me with both. Right now, I am thinking of adding the Vanilla Kola one to my life, as that used to always be my favourite kind of fizzy drink. Though, the softer flavours of cherry, lemon and blackcurrant are also calling out to me. 

I hadn’t ever really explored the Air Up brand before, even though I had seen it online, and I wish I had done so earlier. Whilst the bottles may seem a bit pricey at a starting price of £25, they really will save money in the long run, as the pods last a lot longer than the average bottle of squash. Plus, the ability to change them up and not have any waste is also fantastic, as they can easily be recycled when finished with, leading to a lot less plastic too. 

Finding something that works at improving my health in so many ways is always a winner to me and I can’t wait to enjoy more from the Air Up brand, as they bring out more flavours and ranges! I know that if the bottle was ever to get damaged that I would get myself another, as they are a real game changer. I would also happily gift them as a present this Christmas!
