With the summer holidays coming up, it can be quite a stressful time right now, as many of us will be thinking of ways that we can keep the little ones entertained! Thankfully, the wonderful minds at Yoto have created a number of original cards to help us! Find out all about their exciting new releases that are perfect for this season here!

Good Morning Lovelies, 

When I was little, I loved nothing more than knowing I didn’t have to get up for school, spending my weekends and school holidays having fun with my mum and dad. A lot of the time, we would escape to our caravan in Clacton, however, there were also many days where adventures were held at home. 

My parents were also happy for me to go out and explore or to have fun in my own little ways within the house. Whether it be building a tent out of blankets in our living room to dancing around to the party songs that the 90s/00s was famous for, they were all for it. And I have to say that I am really grateful for it. 

Don’t get me wrong, there was screen time too, yet, I just wanted to be up and doing things. I loved the fun that activities would bring. Therefore, when I heard about the wonderful Original Cards that the producers at Yoto were making, I couldn’t help but want to share some of them with you in case you had a little one who is just like how I was.

Five Minute Dinosaur Stories, £7.99: Dinosaurs will never not be cool in the eyes of children and these stories further that love for them. Perfect to put on if you need a five minute break or just before bed, they will transport young minds to places long ago, whilst also entertaining them with funny situations and emotional moments. It is a roarsome card to have within your collection.

Pre-School Songs Pack, £16.99: Whether you are young or old, you will be singing along to these classic songs all day long. Especially if you take the cards along with you on a car or beach trip. Featuring rhymes like Old Macdonald, Row Your Boat and many more, it is like a trip back in time, making you feel little once again, whilst also delighting your little ones in new ways.

Yoto Daily Quizzes, £5.99: When I was little, a quiz at school was one of the best things. I am not talking about the hard, exam style ones, I mean the fun ones that would educate you but that you would enjoy taking part in. This is exactly what this card is like. With a whole host of general knowledge questions included, the whole family will be able to take part in these 12 different rounds. Heads down, pens at the ready!

Songs For Little Pirates, £7.99: Although they are actually criminals, there is something so cool about pirates and our little ones know it. These shanty inspired songs are a great stepping stone into remembering lyrics and tunes. From original tracks to classic pre-school age rhymes, all of the family can step on deck with this one. 

Five Minute Construction Stories, £7.99: At the nursery in which my mum works at, they have a construction area, teaching little ones all about how the world around us is built. These stories have enhanced how they see things and places being created in a whole new way, encouraging them to want to go out and make something themselves. It is also perfect for teaching small minds all about the big vehicles that they may see on building sites or streets, educating them in many different ways.

Yoto is always inspiring tiny minds to go out and explore the world more and these Original Cards are perfect for that. As someone who has tested all of the above, including taking them along to the nursery my mum works in to test too, I have seen firsthand how much joy they can bring.
