What I Watched In April 2026
00:00:00With many of us still unsure as to how the weather was going to pan out in April, our TV/Film screens made sure that we were kept entertained when the rain really came down! From hit reality shows to refreshing new love stories, there was so much to feast on! Find out what I binged on over the last 30 days right here!
Good Morning Lovelies,
Although the sun was out and many of us were basking on it, I was actually staying wrapped up inside because there was so much good stuff on our screens to enjoy! Honestly, I was thankful that I have so many allergies, as it gave me the most perfect excuse to stay in and watch this wonderful selection.
Often, I did find myself falling down a bit of a reality TV show rabbit hole. Yet, when it brings you joy, it is only right to! Here are five of the most memorable things that I watched in April lovelies that you should definitely take a look at if you haven’t seen them…
Raising Chelsea: I was never a massive fan of Made In Chelsea, preferring The Only Way Is Essex over it. However, I really do love the relationship between Jamie Lang and his wife Sophie. Their podcast often makes me laugh, so I was excited to see what this mini series would show of them. The lead up and birth of their son was so refreshing, especially the conversation between them about Jamie feeling lonely. I hope that they bring this back for a longer run.
Song Sung Blue: I wasn't sure what to expect when I watched this film but what I found was a real joy. Although there was a lot of tragic elements to the feature, it had a heart of gold behind it and after watching it I couldn't wait to tell others to watch it too. Kate Hudson and Hugh Jackman are both superb in it lovelies.
The Drama: After seeing so much surrounding this film online, I was interested to find out what the big twist in it was. It is safe to say that I wasn’t expecting it to be what it was. To be completely honest, I wasn’t that into the film and I wouldn’t watch it again. Both Zendaya and Robert Pattinson are great in it but it just wasn’t my cup of tea.
Heated Rivalry: Another show that I was zapped into because of the hype online was Heated Rivalry. Starting it on a random Sunday afternoon, I completed it all by 1am the next day. I wasn’t sure at first but by the end of it I was hooked. For me, it wasn’t the lead couple though that I really fell for. It was Scott and Kip! Give me a whole series dedicated to them and I will be all over it!
The Assembly (Series Two): In just under 30 minutes, this show manages to change everything you thought you knew about those who star on it. Upon putting on the first episode of the second series, which was when Stephen Fry was interviewed, my heart felt humbled. His explanation as to how people with bipolar disorder feel was so raw and honest that it has stuck with me since that day. If you want to have instant happiness placed upon you watch this show lovelies.
What did you all watch during the month of April lovelies? Is there something you would suggest? Let me know and I will be sure to take a look!
