What I Did In April To Prepare For Christmas 2026

Christmas may seem like it is still a long way off but it is actually only eight months away! The time is ticking down and I am in full planning mode to help me get through my summer SAD days! Find out exactly what I got up to in the month of April to help me prepare for the main event right here!

Good Morning Lovelies,

Every month, I like to share with you all the things that I have done to help me prepare for Christmas! April was a bit of a slower month in regards to this, as we had Easter to think about. Yet, it didn’t stop me from getting a few things in order to make sure that our day is the best it can be.

One way that I prepared was by ordering some Christmas pyjamas in the Next sale. Sadly, when they came, we found that we weren’t really a fan of them, so they did end up going back. However, I was impressed that we were nearly that sorted in terms of finding our Christmas Day outfits.

We also spent April stocking up on foods that will last until the festive season, which came out at Easter and will make great gifts even then. We picked up some limited edition chocolates at a fraction of the cost, whilst also purchasing some sweets for our neighbours' little boys, which don’t go out of date until December 2027.

April also saw us finally getting round to sorting out the Christmas cards we received in December. We had taken them down along with our decorations at the start of January, however, this year, we vowed that we would go through them all and list who had sent us them to ensure that we sent them one back this year. We always normally do but if there were any surprises we were now prepped to get in early with them in December.

With all the Easter madness, there really wasn’t a lot to report this month lovelies. Yet, as we head into May, I have definitely got my festive hat on and am ready and prepped to start booking up some Christmas events! It is time to get the diary out I think!

What did you do in April to prepare for Christmas lovelies? Have you booked anything yet? Let me know, as I would love to hear all about your early festive adventures!
