I am going to be the first to admit that I am always cold! Due to my health and the weather outside, I really struggle to get and stay warm, meaning I am always on the lookout for the best items to keep me warm. Especially cosy snuggling clothing that I can wear both indoors and out to help retain any body heat I have. 

Having learnt about the amazing brand Sherpa a few months ago, I was overjoyed when they reached out to tell me all about their new Tarcho fleeces. Coming in a huge range of colours and patterns, they are made to brighten up the winter months, with their added soft fabric being a huge bonus too. 

Kindly, the brand gifted me one to try out and from the moment I felt it, I was obsessed. If you think about stroking the softest animal fur possible, this is what the fleece is like. Thick but not too much, the material sits comfortably on any body, resting just over the hips to help keep the whole torso warm. 

As for the pattern, it was love at first sight for me, as I saw the white striped design that is made to match the patterns of the mountains and peaks of the Himalayan mountains, which line Tibet, the place that the fleeces are based on. Adding a splash of brightness to my day, they helped lift my mood when I struggled on a grey December, early January day. 

Even though the busy December days are over, the start of a new year can be even more manic, making this fleece perfect for conquering any of those outdoor activities. Beating away all of the harsh elements, it traps the heat in an amazing way. To the point that I didn’t even take it off at times to go to bed after wearing it all day. Think Cameron Diaz in The Holiday vibes. 

Priced at £130, it may seem a little expensive, but I can assure you all that it is worth the cost. My experience saw me moaning less about being cold and stating more about how cosy I was. Able to be worn under a coat or jacket, it is also a great builder piece, meaning it helps to save money in some ways, as you don’t have to invest in a more expensive coat. 

Sherpa is a brand that I have learnt to love for so many reasons. The biggest one being just how fantastic they are at giving us the winter essentials, especially this Tarcho collection, that we need to beat all the elements. If you are looking for a new fleece to don throughout the next few months then this is the brand to pick. They will not be beaten and you will never be cold, which is a huge win all round in my eyes!
