With many of us seeking the comfort of something familiar during the cold winter months, the brilliance of the hit remake of All Creatures Great and Small continues to excel throughout its sixth season.
Returning for more tales from the dales, the series captures the familiar faces, as they come to terms with life after the second world war. With victory having been announced, the country is elated. Yet, the big rebuilding of the nation and the tough internal battles that those who fought in it are facing lead to a sadness many feel.
Nicholas Ralph returns as the famous vet, alongside his fantastic co-stars, who all continue to excel in their roles. Each one knows how to unite both young and old, familiar and unfamiliar audiences, to the show to make them big fans. Even if you don’t think you will like it, you definitely will come away with some kind of love for it.
It may be a short series, but it is one that will leave you feeling comforted. Something we all need right now. Especially during the cold winter months and the lead up to the show's big Christmas specials!
