Christmas is a little over a month away and that means that we are in full planning mode in our house! Every little detail is now being sorted! From the kitchen to our bedrooms,  no surface is being left untouched! And that is all down to some early Christmas sorting we did in October! Find out what I did to festive during it here!

Good Morning Lovelies, 

October may be the month for Halloween celebrations but in our house it is also the month in which we sort out a lot of Christmas bits and bobs too! Having spent the last 10 months thinking about the big event, October made us really put our feet down and get busy.

From the moment October landed and brought food offers galore, my mum started stocking up her festive stash. Biscuits, drinks, foodie gifts and even the turkey have all been brought and put away, ready to be enjoyed in December. 

As have a number of new decorations that we have purchased as they have entered shops. I’ve become the proud owner of some new door covers, tableware and even a cardboard present holder for my mum’s gifts. 

Speaking of which, I also managed to spend October purchasing a handful of items that she wants or needs, leaving me with a very happy inner self. She is the most important person to me when it comes to buying gifts, so I’m really happy that she will be getting what she wants.

Finally, the biggest thing that we did to prepare was to buy our festive pyjamas. Normally, we like to wait a bit, but after missing out on all the good ones last year, we got in early this time round. Having looked at so many on the market, we decided to go with some fantastic ones from a local supermarket, which are incredibly comfortable normally. 

October really was like a really early Christmas to us! Don’t worry, we did still decorate the house in all things spooky, however, it just felt like the right time to get things sorted before the madness!
