I’m always excited to hear about a new skincare range, so when the fantastic Hannah at The Strange Apothecary got in touch, I couldn’t wait to find out all about what she had created! Using only the best natural ingredients, her blends provide a realm of magic for the entire body and boy did they! 

Having kindly been gifted a number of items to try, I decided to spend a week or so really putting them to the test. Starting with the face bars and ending with the polishing body scrubs, I was overjoyed by the results I found. As well as very relaxed, as the brand focuses on using CBD and hemp ingredients to provide a realm of calm upon applying. 

Over the course of the trial, I found myself falling for a number of star products, which I wanted to share with all of you lovelies. These five items are the ones that I simply can’t get enough of and would recommend to anyone…

Coffee & Raw Cacao Polish, £12.99: Packed full to the brim with Fairtrade coffee, raw cacao and hydrating vegan squalane, this polish not only smells amazing but it also boosts circulation, smooths skin and enhances shine. I tried this after I had shaved my legs and it is honestly a game changer. 

Volumising Dry Shampoo, £8.99: With so many stigmas surrounding dry shampoos, you can be safe with this shampoo as it only uses the best ingredients for your hair. Infused with Hemp Seed Oil, charcoal and Kaolin Clay, the shampoo removes any excess oils that may be sitting on your scalp, leaving a clean feeling all over.

Anti-Ageing Facial Serum, £14.99: Many of us know that as we older our collagen levels reduce. Especially within our faces! This oil helps to reduce the impact of this by moisturising, repairing and restoring a youthful face, as it gets rid of those annoying dry areas. All of which is down to the fantastic inclusion of Vegan Squalane, which is full of healthy elements that strengthen every inch of our skin.

Hair Repair Oil, £9.99: Upon unwrapping this bottle of magic, I was in awe at how pretty it looked. With real cornflower petals floating in it, the glass bottle holds a dropper, which allows for just the right amount to be applied to the scalp and ends of any hair type. Popping it onto the base of my plaited locks, it left a gorgeous scent, whilst the dry ends seemed to improve overnight. I think I loved this one the most!

Boost Pulse Point Balm, £14.99: As someone who suffers from an anxiety disorder, I am always looking for something to try and help soothe me in those scary moments. Popping on just a tiny amount of this balm not only made me feel more alert but I felt truly better within myself in no time at all. It’s a game changer of epic proportions.
