It may be the month that we celebrate all things spooky, however, I am still preparing for the big day early! In September, the shops started to gather in all of their festive pieces, which made finding new and exciting Christmas ideas even easier and more fun! Find out what I did to celebrate Christmas 2025 throughout the whole of September right here!

Good Morning Lovelies, 

We are now officially in the big building up to the best day of the year lovelies! The festive radio stations are back. The big Christmas press events have happened and even some of the festive food from them has reached our shelves. And I am in my peak excited mode. 

In September, I truly got stuck into preparations for the big day. I took the time to buy new decorations for our home. I brought my mum her first Christmas present and together we discussed presents for others and ideas for them. 

However, the biggest thing we started to do was get a food basket sorted. With only me and my mum to cater for, we don’t go to overboard. Yet, my mum does like to get a few picky bits in to enjoy in the evening and days after Christmas, leading into New Year’s Eve. 

From breadsticks to freezer finds, she has started to stock up and I can safely say that I don’t think I have ever seen so much Bombay mix in my life. I’m all here for it though lovelies, as it is transporting me back to when we used to get hampers as a family at Christmas time. The countdown to the big dinner and buffets has officially begun!
