Five TV Romances To Watch Now TSITP Is Over
00:00:00With The Summer I Turned Pretty TV series now over, we are all patiently waiting for the film to land! To help pass the time, and keep that loving feeling going that the show brought into our lives, I have gathered some of my favourite romantic TV shows for you to enjoy! Find out what they are and all the love right here!
Good Morning Lovelies,
I don’t know about you but I love a good romance. The yearning kind. The enemies to lovers kind. The childhood friends who become more. If there is a film or TV show with these tropes in it I will watch it. I’ll even read the books that they are based on!
For a long time, The Summer I Turned Pretty dominated the list of the ones that would always draw me in. However, with the series now over, I have been trying to find some new ones or returning to old classics to keep that romantic feeling alive.
I thought it would be nice to share five of them with you all in case you are also stuck with what romantic feature to watch next. It’s time to fall in love with these TV shows…
My Life With The Walter Boys: Two brothers fighting for the new girl in town. It is very much a cowboy based TSITP. Whilst I’m not as much of a fan of Jackie, as I was of Belly, I do love Cole a lot. It’s just an easy to watch as TSITP and will definitely fill the gap that the show has left. A third season has also already been announced!
Maxton Hall: This sprung up on me last summer and I think I rewatched it about three times before the end of the year! One time I did the whole thing in one day! Ruby and James’ love story is very much on the same level of TSITP. Watch it as soon as you can lovelies, as the second season will be out on the 7th November.
Bridgerton: I’ve only just started watching this but I’m hooked! I’m racing through the first two seasons to get to Colin and Penelope’s episodes, as I’m obsessed with their love story. I don’t know who is yearning more for them to be together, the characters or me!
Nobody Wants This: A bit more adult based, this comedy is a very refreshing take on the genre. Easily bingeable, Kristen Bell and Adam Brody are such a lovable pair in this romance about a podcaster and rabbi meeting and falling in love.
Gossip Girl: People say that autumn is the season of Gilmore Girls but to me it is all about Gossip Girl. A lot more dramatic than TSITP, it is still fun of love, great fashion and dream worthy destinations. They even go to Paris! Chuck and Blair forever in my eyes!
There is nothing better than a cosy romance to watch on a chilly day and these are just a few of the ones I enjoy! I would love to hear what romantic features you enjoy lovelies, so please do let me know! I’m in need of that loving feeling aha!
