Good Morning Lovelies, 

Growing up, when our family friends used to invite us round for a BBQ, I couldn’t wait! It would be a day long event that would go on well into the night. Even when I had school the next day! 

The adults would chat away, putting the world to right, whilst us kids would go off and adventure in the garden. All until we were called to enjoy the endless amount of foods that had been grilled, chopped and buttered in the most wonderful way. 

I can still to this day remember the way that the meat tasted. Beautifully grilled with that little hint of charcoal that highlights a successful BBQ in my eyes. However, as time has gone on, the dishes have changed a lot. 

With so many new brands and types of meat to try on the BBQ, a garden party is now like an all-inclusive experience. Yet, I still think that simple flavours are best, which is why I will only turn to the greatest HECK delights this summer! 

With only the best ingredients going into their products, they have a number of items out this BBQ season that will light up the grill! Here are a few of my favourites that you should add to your shopping lists lovelies…

Steak & Butter Meatballs, £4: Fancy making your own skewers? Turn these meatballs into kebabs, mixing them with roasted vegetables, for the ultimate dish. When paired with buttery new potatoes or golden rice, they come alive on the plate. 

Chicken Italia Chipolatas, £3.50: Using flavours that remind us of the Mediterranean, these chipolatas will make any body who eats them feel like they are basking on a beach abroad. As Italians, we love how authentic these are, especially when grilled on the barbie. 

Steak & Butter Burgers, £4: We absolutely love these burgers in our house! When grilled on a BBQ and popped into a brioche burger bun with salads and sauces, it is unlike anything you may have tried before. The butter in the burger just gives the bun an incredible flavour and when put with potato wedges the moans in our house can be heard with every bite!

HECK 97% 10 Pork Chipolatas, £3.50: If you are looking for a thinner but more traditional sausage to put on your BBQ than these chipolatas are the ones for you. Whilst you may think they will be small, they are not. They are mighty in every way. Size, smell and taste. Perfect for any hot dog bun. 

Minted Lamb Burgers, £4: Grab a pitta bread, fill it up with your favourite salad pieces and add this burger to it. You will have just made your new favourite kebab that will beat any takeaway kind. Knowing your BBQ can make a cheaper, tastier and supremely epic dish will have you serving them all the time throughout summer and beyond. 

97% Smoky Pork Sausage Rashers, £3.50: Whilst not a traditional BBQ item, these rashers will prove to everyone that the grill can be used for more than burgers and sausages. Pop these on to cook on a sunny summers morning and you will have neighbours from all over coming round for a BBQ breakfast. Forget the bacon sarnies, it’s all about the HECK sausage sandwich! Brown or red sauce?
