Father’s Day is here lovelies and I hope that you all have a fantastic time celebrating the special people in your life! Sadly, my dad is not with us anymore but that doesn’t mean that I won’t be marking the day! It is a time to share the love after all! Find out why love and grief can work side by side here! 

Good Morning Lovelies, 

Happy Father’s Day lovelies! Today, is both a day of joy and sadness for me. I am so happy to see people appreciating their dads and father figures, however, I struggle to deal with the fact that my dad is not here to celebrate! 

Today, I want to not only wish you the best of days if you are celebrating but also offer you all a safe space to chat or talk if you need to. Losing a parent, whatever way it may be, is something that stays with lots of us for life. 

Grief springs up in all kinds of ways and it doesn’t matter how young or old you are you feel it. I have come to terms with the tears I cry for my dad because it is a sign to others and myself just how much I loved him. I would give anything and everything to be reunited with him. 

I have so much to say and tell him. I want one of his big squeezy hugs so bad. I even want his disapproving looks back in my life. Yet, I will make sure that I always keep these moments alive. 

I will tell people all about him. I will never change my surname. I will share photos and videos to so many to make sure they know him. Because he forever deserves a place on this earth. 

Today is a tough one but a lovely one lovelies! I hope that whoever and however you are celebrating today that you are having a great time! And remember if you ever need to talk the blog is always here for you!
