Cocktails to me are a sign of holidays and long sunny days! To me, the best kind involve an amaretto mixture or a coconut concoction, as a Pina Colada can be pure bliss at anytime. However, these are often always mixed by a bar expert instead of myself, as I don’t have the skills to do it myself. 

Yet, by doing this in the past, I have noticed that it can be a big cost on a night out, especially if buying for more than one person. This is why I was so excited when the fantastic team at Bottle Bar and Shop got in touch with me.

Fate kindly gifting me five bottles to try, my family and I got stuck into them. It was safe to say that they didn’t last long. We all agreed that the refreshing nature of them made them a lot more pleasant to drink than some of the ones we had tried at bars and restaurants. Especially the following five that you have to give a try this summer lovelies…

Negroni, £26: The dark cocktail that poured from this bottle was like no other negroni my family had ever tried. As Italians, it was like we had stepped back onto the island and cheers we raised. Using a premium gin, sweet vermouth, and bitter aperitif it is a tipple that once you open, you will celebrate with for years to come. 

Passion Fruit Daiquiri, £24: Forget paying a fortune to sit by a pool on holiday with a cocktail in hand, as this bottle brings the sun, sea and relaxation into your home. Shaken and stirred together, the bottle includes premium rum, zesty limes and beautiful passion fruits to make a yellow cocktail that beams sunshine from within its glass.

Rum Old Fashioned, £25: My mum’s absolute favourite out of the bunch, the rum in this is out of this world according to her. Made using premium gold rum, the cocktail also includes hints of velvety rich caramel and spices, to make a drink that will keep you warm on a chilly summer evening. This is the kind of cocktail that works all year round. 

Long Island Iced Tea, £29: Probably the drink that uses the most techniques to get right, this cocktail is a true masterclass creation in mixology. Featuring premium spirits and orange liqueur, this is a drink to enjoy in the garden after a busy day or during a festive gathering. It truly hits all the right notes!

Cosmopolitan, £24: With Carrie and co back on our screens, it is only right that we crack open this bottle of her favourite. Mixing premium vodka, cranberries, zesty limes, and a hint of orange liqueur, you will want to gather everyone round to have a gossip whilst sipping this wonderful creation. You simply can’t beat a classic.
