You all know that in our house we love Ben & Jerry’s! From a young age,they have been the go to dessert, snack and well, meal at times for every single member of my family! Therefore, we were very excited to hear and try their newest flavour! Find out all about this summer wonder and why you need it in your home here!

Good Morning Lovelies, 

In my eyes, the kings of the ice cream world are Ben & Jerry’s! Having been brought up by an Italian ice cream man, I am very aware of what makes a perfect one and in my eyes it is theirs. From classics such as Baked Alaska (BRING IT BACK!) to the newest kinds, I have tried most of them, having even attended their annual festivals since they first began. 

So, when I heard that they had brought out a new kind, I couldn’t wait to put it to the test! Having been kindly sent a tub, alongside their classic Karamel Sutra Core tub, I was in the presence of a true summer wonder. The newest member of the family. Sweet Mango Memories! And it is a memory to behold! 

Made up of sweet cream ice cream with mango flavoured swirls and white chocolate chunks, the flavour was invented by 13 refugee entrepreneurs, who were influenced by the tastes and smells from key memories in their own lives. An element that brings even more sunshine to the product. 

Upon opening the tub, we were treated by the bright orange swirls that threw out a gorgeously sweet smell. It was delicious before a bite had even been taken. Handing over one of our iconic Ben & Jerry’s spade spoons, my mum was first to dive in and boy did she. 

It wasn’t long before the whole tub was in her hand, as she moaned loudly about how delicious the flavour was. Describing it as like summer in a bowl, she explained how it was subtle but rich, with everything you could want from a combination of flavours like this. 

When comparing it to the classic Karamel Sutra, she explained that whilst that tasted like a rich delight to have during the autumn and winter months, Sweet Mango Memories had the lightness that being out in the summer sun brings. 

Having opened the tub on a hot day, it didn’t last long with my family around. All of us stated that it would definitely be a flavour we would purchase in the future, as we agreed that it is a perfect on its on tub or to be served with a summer pudding. Honestly, pop some meringue with this and you will be on to a game changer for your next Eton Mess. 

Sweet Mango Memories is out now in supermarkets lovelies, so keep an eye out for it! You will not want to miss out on it, as the taste, texture and sunshine it brings is beautiful. Plus, when a tub is sold, the refugees who created the product are provided with funding to help their own businesses grow! It truly is perfection in every way!
