00:00:00With a month to go until Pancake Day here in the UK, I thought Valentine’s Day would be the perfect start to the celebrations! Prepare to get flipping crazy in the kitchen, as you impress your special someone, friends and family members with this delicious heart shaped pancake recipe! The hardest part will be deciding what your chosen extra delicious topping will be!
Good Morning Lovelies,
Pancakes are a massive thing in our home! If you make them for my brother Gio, you better make a lot of them! Honestly, as soon as they come out of the frying pan he is popping them onto his plate and eating them up!
However, sadly, we still have over a month to go until we all go wild for one of the sweetest nights of the year! There so, I thought I would bring some of that magic into February and mix it all together with Valentine’s Day tomorrow!
Whether you make this heart shaped hit for breakfast or as a super sweet dessert, you won’t be able to stop enjoying them from now until March. Get those frying pans at the ready for this one lovelies…
Ingredients
One Cup of Self-Raising Flour
One Cup of Milk
One Egg
Two Tablespoons of Honey or Maple Syrup
Butter or Oil (To Grease The Frying Pan)
Tools
A Large Mixing Bowl
A Whisk
A Non-Stick Frying Pan
A Heart Shaped Cookie Cutter
A Spatula
A Plate
Method
In a large mixing bowl, add the flour, milk, egg and honey into it, before using a whisk to stir it all together. The mixture should be smooth when ready.
Grab your frying pan and add in your butter or oil, heating it over a medium heat.
Once the pan is ready, place your cookie cutter onto it carefully, before pouring in some of the batter into the centre of it.
When bubbles appear on the surface of your pancake, remove the cutter and flip them, using the spatula, to cook the other side until golden brown and fluffy.
Pop the cooked pancakes onto your plate and drizzle with honey, melted chocolate or fresh berries and maple syrup! The toppings are endless!
Food really is the ultimate love in lots of peoples lives and this recipe will be the true heart of it if you enjoy it lovelies! Let me see your creations if you do have a go lovelies!
