Celebrate St Patrick’s Day Early With This Bailey’s Recipe!
00:00:00My favourite time of the year is nearly upon us and it’s not Christmas based! St Patrick’s Day is a time where I can fully thank the most incredible people on earth! He Irish! To start the celebrations early, I have got for you all a super easy chocolate recipe that I think you will all love! It’s time to get stuck in!
Good Morning Lovelies,
Many of you will know that I love anything to do with Ireland! To me, St Patrick’s Day is the real Valentine’s Day! If I could live the most perfect life, it would include an Irish husband, a cosy cottage in Dublin and endless trips to Grafton Street to visit one of the few remaining Disney Stores in the world!
In a few months time, I will be heading back there to hopefully embrace all things Irish. Until I get there and to mark one of the best days of the year, I have a recipe inspired by the best country in the world that you can make now, on St Patrick’s Day and beyond. Top up your spoon with this white chocolate Baileys filled pudding…
Ingredients
200g of White Chocolate
250ml of Double Cream
Two Tablespoons of Honey
A Pinch of Sea Salt
50ml of Baileys Irish Cream
Tools
Two Heatproof Bowls
A Saucepan
A Mixing Spoon
A Whisk
Serving Glasses or Big Serving Bowl
Method
Start by breaking up the chocolate into small pieces and placing into the heatproof dish. Using the saucepan, fill it with water and melt the chocolate over boiling water. You can also microwave it in small bursts with occasional stirring.
Leave the chocolate to one side and in another bowl, pour in and whisk the double cream until soft peaks form.
Once the cream is ready, fold in the melted chocolate, Baileys, honey and salt until smooth with a mixing spoon.
Pour into individual serving glasses or into a big serving bowl and pop into the fridge for at least an hour. Leaving it for longer will allow it to set better.
Once firm, serve the puddings or pudding with added toppings, such as biscuits, grated chocolate or whatever you fancy and enjoy!
To really top off the pudding, you could even have it with an additional glass of Baileys! It is only right after all!
