A Little Boots Beauty Haul To Feel Body Better This Month!

00:00:00

Recently, I’ve been feeling really body conscious and with the ED thoughts settling in, I decided to take a stand and try to love my body in other ways! With a ton of Boots Advantage points to use up, I took myself to my local shop to find some new products to pamper myself with! Take a look at my little haul here!

Good Morning Lovelies,

Living with an eating disorder is incredibly hard. Every day, I wake up and try not to judge my body badly in the shower. However, it can be really hard not to. Last week, I had a number of terrible days, which led to me really hating myself to be truly honest. However, I wanted to change this thinking as much as I could.

Every morning, I like to shower using the best products I can find. A lot of the time, I find myself sticking to what I know well though. So, with that horrible ED voice shaking me, I decided to tell it to fuck off, as I took myself to my local Boots shop to stock up on some new body loving items to make me feel better.

Over the years, I have collected a lot of points, which I decided to use to buy the following items. All of which were either my favourites or entirely new to me. I can’t wait to put the following to the test…

Gillette Simply Venus Razors, £1.49: These were an essential purchase, as I use these all the time. I find these are the best at getting the results I want, so seeing them at an affordable price made me throw a pack, with four in it, into my basket.

Boots Pineapple & Papaya Shower Gel, 85p: I was going to buy myself an expensive shower gel, however, when I smelt this one it won me over right away. It is like a fruit salad in a bottle and I can’t wait to have scented of it all over my skin. Plus, at 85p, it is super affordable!

Soap & Glory All The Right Smoothes In-Shower Moisturiser, £7.99: I used to love a Nivea in-shower moisturiser, however, I stopped using it when I went into hospital. Then when I came out I found that it had been stopped. I hadn’t used another kind since, so I don’t know what this is like yet, but I adore the Soap & Glory range, giving me high hopes. If it can smooth my dry skin after I exfoliate I will use it for life.

OGX Coconut Milk Shampoo, £4.99: Many of you who have followed the blog for a long time will know that I normally use the L’Oreal shampoo in the bright orange bottle. However, I have been wanting to switch things up for a while now. After getting a leave in cream from the OGX brand at Christmas, I wanted to give their shampoos a go too. Coconut is my favourite scent, so I hope that this will leave my hair soft and smelling of it for days.

Neutrogena Clear & Radiant Face Wash, £4.66: Every day, I use the Neutrogena face cream, as it has saved my life, after preventing the cystic acne symptoms I used to get. I hadn’t used a face wash by the brand before but after running out of my usually one I picked this up to try. Plus, I loved the pump on the bottom, as I feel it will prevent me from using too much of it, preventing a whole load of waste.

Boots Calcium & Vitamin D Chewable Vitamins, £3.60: In the mornings, I like to take a calcium supplement to help my body and bones to stay strong. These are so good at doing just that, so I picked up a tub to stock up for when I run out.

OGX Argan Oil of Morocco Shampoo, £4.99: Oddly, my brother was the one who told me about how good argan oil had been for his hair. Then after a lot of research, I found that the OGX were specialists in it, so I popped a bottle of this one in my basket to try too. As someone who cuts my own hair, I hope to use this one after I’ve done a little trim.

After getting a bunch of money off, this little haul came to £21.11, which was a real steal for all of these. It even left some money on my Advantage Card that I was shocked about. I can’t wait to really pamper my body with them now, especially the shampoos, which I have been wanting for ages.

I’m sure that these will probably reappear on the blog soon lovelies, so keep an eye out for my thoughts on them very soon! What do you lovelies do if you need to feel a bit more body confident? Let me know!
