My December 2024 New Food & Drink Finds!
00:00:00December is the real month of food for many! It is a time where I try so hard to be able to achieve one of my annual goals of having my mum’s Christmas dinner each year during it! However, throughout December, I also managed to find a whole load of delicious new foods to enjoy too! Discover what they all were right here!
Good Morning Lovelies,
For many, December is the time to go all out and put on the ultimate party feasts. However, as someone who suffers from an ED, I find it hard to join in these celebrations. However, I work hard to beat a food hardship, as much as possible during it.
With not an ounce of honey in sight, I managed to find and experience some of the following, whilst purchasing a few to try soon, in the month of December. And I can’t recommend them enough…
Hartley's More Fruit Less Sugar Blackcurrant Jam, £2.50: I’m trying to cut down on the amount of sugar I have to protect my teeth lovelies. However, I still want to enjoy the foods that I was once scared of. This Squirty jam is gorgeously thick with a beautiful taste. Plus, with less sugar it means it is better for me and my nashers.
Aldi Multigrain Festive Shapes Cereal, £1.99: I got these in my Christmas Day morning stocking, which includes foods I want to attempt or do enjoy having, plus knickers and socks. I eat these more like a biscuit and they are pure perfection. I wish we could have the little trees all year round.
Bonne Maman Apricot Conserve, £3.30: I am a big, BIG, big fan of the Aldi apricot conserve, however, when we went to Costco, I saw a huge jaw of this version and asked for it for my stocking. Full of pure fruit, with less sugar than some, you can tell that this has been made with the best ingredients. Truly delicious, I love it on top of apples.
Aldi Sun Quench Immunity Orange & Guava Flavoured Squash Drink, £1.59: I love these little squirts to enjoy at home or on the go. Normally sticking to the usual squash flavours, I found myself intrigued by these new vitamin filled ones. I pop a squirt of this into my ginger and lemon teas to get a wonderful sunny drink in a cup.
My Mum’s Christmas Dinner, Priceless: Nothing and I mean NOTHING can beat my mum’s Christmas dinner. All year round, we plan and get ready for it. I know that may seem made but I want to be able to enjoy it as much as possible, so planning is key. From bread sauce, stuffing, all the vegetables and of course the rich gravy, my mum’s Christmas dinner is iconic and I’m proud of myself for being able to enjoy it.
What foods did you find and fall in love or re-in love with again in December lovelies? Let me know!
