Whisky! It’s an essential when it comes to Christmas! Whether it be for a gift, an evening tipple by a warm fire after all the madness or to soak the Christmas pudding in, you deserve to enjoy the best of the best! Therefore, I’m very excited to share with you all my thoughts on the gorgeous White Heather Blended Scotch Whisky with you!

Good Morning Lovelies, 

One of the biggest memories, I have of my dad at Christmas and New Year is of him sitting at his table with a neat glass of whisky at the end of the night. Something he had probably done the night before too, as we would often leave a glass out for Santa too. He was a man who taught all his kids the importance of a good whisky at a time of celebration. He didn’t drink it often, yet, when he did, he only wanted the best! 

There so, when I received the gorgeously boxed and bottled White Heather Blended Scotch Whisky, from The GlenAllachie Distillers Company Limited, I wished he was here still to enjoy it. Upon it arriving on my desk, I knew that if he had been around, I would have actually have kept the bottle to give him as a gift on the big day because I know he would have treasured its beauty. 

However, with my Pops no longer here, we decided to do him proud and pop it open on a cold night to try with him. As someone who likes a whisky ginger, my mum stepped up to give this 15 year old blend a go. And she was very impressed!

Rock in honey and butterscotch flavours, the whisky has a treacle like taste to it that elevated the gingerbread that my mum was eating at the same time as enjoying this drink. Having poured it on to some ice, the whisky still provided her with an inner warmth, which made drinking it a pure joy. The oak casks could be tasted in a gentle way that gave off a lemon smoked flavour too, making for a malted nature that my mum found true pleasure in too. 

Having never heard of the brand before, we both wished that we had discovered the White Heather blend earlier, as we both knew that my dad would have enjoyed the bottle a lot. Speaking of the bottle, the glass packaging was simple gorgeous too, with the blue box elevating it to supreme gift giving. 

Honestly, I will definitely be buying a few more of these, as I know a number of family members who would love to enjoy this too. Especially our family friend Vin, who would come round and enjoy a few glasses with my dad, whilst putting the world to right.
