Now, if I have said it once, I have said it many times, but I truly don’t think there is anything better than a home that smells lovely. Whether it be from a natural scent or a candle or spray, the way a home smells truly makes a person feel welcome. And when do we want that most?All year round of course! 

Fresh from their gift department, the team at The Copenhagen Company, have therefore made the ultimate gifts and home accessories to make sure that are hosting and giving duties go off with a hitch. Kindly, the team sent me one of their gifts to sample and I loved it. 

When out in the garden, I love the sights and smells of fresh roses! Therefore, when I got the wonderful Freesia & Rose Classic Candle on my desk, I couldn’t help but be in awe of it. Presented in the most beautiful box, it was an item I instantly felt like I would be proud to gift to friends and family members. 

Having spent time wondering whether I should burn it or not, I popped it in my kitchen, where I felt it would give the best freshness to start my day with. And boy could you smell it! Even when we weren’t in the room, you could smell the refreshing scent everywhere in our home. Both up and downstairs!

However, it wasn’t an overpowering smell. Instead it was one that gave off a subtle warmth. Like coming home after a busy day, where you can finally be at ease, whilst kicking back on the sofa or in a nice bubble bath. I loved how I got this hit of motivation from the smell in fact. It reminded me of fresh spring days. Something to come.
