August wasn’t the best month for me, yet, these little delights made it possible to smile during the sadder times! From funny videos to soothing sweets, every one of these top five features made for a better August than I thought. For that reason, they had to make it onto my favourites list! Find out what made it on to it right here!

Good Morning Lovelies,

August was meant to be a very promising month! We had booked to surprise my nephew on his birthday by heading to see him in Blackpool. We wanted to get lots done in the house and I was pumped to start planning my Halloween and Christmas decoration preparations.

Yet, I was faced with a scary health matter, which is currently ongoing, that stopped our holiday and turned our lives a bit upside down. There so, I looked for comfort in lots of things during the month to help get by. My top five favourites included…

My Favourite App: YouTube - The YouTube app has truly helped me zone out when I’ve been stressed or upset this month. I have the bloggers who I love to tune into and getting the notifications pop up about new episodes is a real treat each and every time.

My Favourite Film or TV Show: Gossip Girl - I’ve seen this show so many times, yet, I always find myself binging it as soon as the autumn vibes hit. Chuck and Blair are my favourites, causing endless hours wasting away watching it, whilst wishing I could back in time and watch the episodes like I hadn’t seen them before to get that excited first time tummy feeling!

My Favourite Food: Aldi Clear Honey - Coming in at under £1, this honey is a delicious steal! I spread it all over my bagels, after warming it up to make it really runny. I also pop it on top of sliced apples and my cereal. After really hurting my throat, due to hospital treatments, this soothed any aches too.

My Favourite Beauty Item: Vegamour HYDR-8 Leave-In Conditioner - I was kindly sent this a few weeks ago and it has done my hair wonders. I was using another conditioner before, which actually weighed my hair down. Something I discovered after switching to this one. It smells lovely and makes a real difference.

My Favourite Podcast: Sarah Cox All Request Friday - So it’s not really a podcast, however, I love listening back to this show on a Saturday whilst out on a nice walk. It’s truly a delight to hear all the stories that go with each song. It will really pick you up!

My Favourite Experience: August was when we were meant to be going on holiday to see our family. However, due to an urgent health crisis, I was told not to travel and had to have many hospital appointments. Yet, it was during this time that I went on a great day out with my mum, which really helped to pick me up. Any experience with my mum is the best.

What made your August so special lovelies? Let me know!
