EasiYo Will Make Your Festive Foods Fantastic This Year!
00:00:00Yogurt has always been something of a staple in our kitchen! From classic fruity ones to natural and Greek inspired choices, we adore them so much! I can even remember my brother drinking one straight from the plastic cartoon. However, times have changed and now we love them in different ways! To the point that we experimented making our own thanks to EasiYo!
Good Morning Lovelies,
Over the next few months, we will all probably be making a ton of recipes that include yogurt! From fruity desserts to the perfect element to cool down a Bonfire Night chilli, there is always a reason to have some in your fridge. Especially when you can make it right at home!
A few weeks ago, the team behind EasiYo got in touch to ask if I would like to try and make my own yogurt using their super easy machine. Of course, as a gadget fan, I had to say yes! Arriving in its new bright orange colour, the team kindly sent me the EasiYo Yogurt Maker, the EasiYo Yogurt Cookbook and three yogurt sachets in the EasiYo Dessert Style Lemon & Lime Sorbet, EasiYo Greek Style Natural and EasiYo Greek Style Mango and Passion fruit flavours.
After a quick flick through the instruction booklet, I washed the machine with a damp cloth and the jar in a bowl of hot water, as instructed, before getting to work. Inside the maker’s box, there are a number of easy to use items, including a thermometer strip. This is to be placed onto the jar in which the yogurt is made in to help determine the temperature of the water used to make the yogurt. After popping this on, I added room temperature water and waited for it to fit the right degrees. Once it had, I then poured the powdered sachet it.
I decided to give the Dessert Style Lemon & Lime flavour first, as I knew that my mum would enjoy this in the mornings with fresh fruit and waffles. After popping it into the water, I sealed the lid, shaking it up once it was completely closed. Once ready,I popped it back open and added the remaining requested water before sealing and shaking again.
Now that the jar was ready, I had to get the actual maker prepped. Inside the machine, there is a red shelf like feature, which the jar sits on. Popping it into the right position, I then poured the boiling water that is requested up to the line stated, before popping the jar in and sealing the lid. Each pack comes with a time to leave it to set, which is between eight to 12 hours. For this one, I was told to leave it for eight hours.
Placing the machine in an easy slot on our kitchen worktop, I completely forget it was there, as it really didn’t clutter up our small space at all. When the time was up, we then moved the jar and the prepped yogurt to the fridge to now chill, ready for breakfast the next day.
With no electrics needed and super compact, I loved how easy this machine was to use and control. Even my young niece and nephew could make their own yogurts with it. Creating 1kg of yogurt for a fraction of the cost of some shop brought ones was also a massive bonus too.
It’s been a few days since I made this and my mum is loving it! She’s had it for breakfast, on top of a homemade crumble and even froze it to make a quick lolly on a hot day. Having looked at all the flavours available, she has even got her next bunch of sat nets picked out to buy.
When times get stressful at Christmas or if you have a person in your family or friendship group that loves to cook or play with new gadgets, the EasiYo Maker is so much fun and a great gift. I will be honest and say I didn’t think we would ever need one, however, it is a real game changer in our lives now and so worth the money, as at £20, it is so affordable. Get ready to be gifting it all Christmas and beyond! It’s time to go yogurt crazy!
