Perfume is my biggest beauty love of all! From well-known brands to independent houses, if the smell is good then I will happily spray it everywhere. There so, when Tulpa Club asked if I would like to sample their scent collection, I didn’t hold back in saying yes! Find out what I thought about their three creations and their wonderful smells right here!

Good Morning Lovelies, 

Where do I start when I discuss perfume? For me, I find nothing better than going to a shopping centre and taking in the smells coming off the counter. It’s made me a firm fan of perfumes from a young girl age. 

To me, there is nothing better than seeking out a new smell that will bring a new memory or moment to life. Each summer, I try to find a fragrance that I can use to recall those hot sunny days, often picking a fruity or tropical scent. This is what led me to finding out about Tulpa Club. 

After putting out a call to find out what new beauty items are out there at the moment, the lovely team behind the brand got in touch. Independently made in the UK, the fragrances are made to be experienced in order. They go on a series of dates shall we say. With their names made to match!

When a new one is released, it is like a link is made with them. Much like the chain you get when watching a TV series or film. A concept that I found incredibly creative and  impressive! Especially, when they are made to feature surprises and details that everyone experiences differently. Much like our emotions. 

Upon arriving in the post, I was faced with three sample sized scents to give a go. Starting with the first in the series called, The Long Way Home. Described as being like a long walk in the park, filled with freshly cut grass, roses and orange trees, the smell is a refreshing hit that brings back those summer days instantly. It’s a picnic in your pocket. A smell of wonder in a world of warmth. 

I loved how well the fragrance stayed on my skin. I got hits of it all day in a fabulous way. When out for a walk, it made it a more sensory experience. Getting into bed, it reminded me of all that I had done that day. As I washed it off in the shower, it made me excited to experience the next hit in the series. 

Episode two is called, The First Date. Much like those feelings you get when you are with someone you like, this scent had a bit more zest to it. With hints of leather, it coats you in a at that reminds you of an arm being slipped over your shoulder to pull you in for a hug. It’s a clever mix of forest scents with musk and berries providing a lighter aura.

Out of the three scents, this one was my favourite. I loved the lightness of it and the excitement it brought to my day. Getting a few compliments honestly boosted my confidence like I had been on a date. I wish that I had the bigger bottle of this. I may just have to invest. 

The final scent out of the three is called, The Last Call. Have you ever spent all night in a bar to find them calling the last orders? This feeling is the one that this scent has been built on. The fun elements of the walking home after a fantastic evening that you don’t want to end. 

Full of red berries, cherries, tobacco and pepper, this smelt like the smell you get that reminds you of a good bar. The smell of a good time. The rich berries worked wonders in making the tobacco smell a bit muted. However, altogether, they were a power hit. I really enjoyed how beautifully this rested on my skin and how well it stayed. 

Having never heard of Tulpa Club before, my head and heart loved the way that hey all flowed in a pattern. I was enchanted by the idea of knowing how each smell told a story.
