Last night, the blog went along to the grand opening of Mulligans in Hemel Hempstead! The new arcade, crazy golf, electric darts and more venue is set to be the biggest new entertainment venue to hit the city, so we couldn’t wait to get stuck in to all the action. Find out what happened here when we went along to try it out!

Good Morning Lovelies, 

Living in Hertfordshire, I often used to go to Hemel Hempstead to use their Aquasplash venue. I once ventured into the ice skating park, however, with two left feet it wasn’t safe for me. The memories I made at those two places have stayed with me ever since, even though the water park is long gone. However, in its place a new venue has landed, with endless amounts of fun! 

Mulligans in Hemel is the latest addition to the entertainment venue based chain. Full to the brim with fun, the establishment is filled with crazy golf courses, electric darts, virtual reality, arcade games, pool, ping pong, deck shuffle and food and drink venues, meaning hours, in fact the whole day, can be lost in there. Kindly, the blog was invited to come along to the launch party of the new venue, which we were very excited about. 

Upon arriving on the big night, we were greeted with drinks and food to help fuel us up before the games began. With arcade machines all around, we were able to explore old school classics including racing machines, shooting, crane machines and more. It felt like we were little again, where the wonder of an arcade took over and we wanted to play on everything. 

However, we had to save our energy, as we were welcomed to play on their new 18 hole golf course. Each hole is decorated with a fun theme, including Mario, Pac-Man, Monopoly, Duplo, Hot Wheels and more. Every new segment was like a journey back in time to our 90s childhood, which we absolutely loved. 

Given hours to spend playing, we found ourselves making friends with the other players, which made the whole experience even better. Yet, the biggest bonding moment came when we reached the virtual reality section. Placed into a big hall, the VR headsets bring to life further games, which you can all experience together. As you avoid hitting or knocking each other, you will find yourself laughing with total strangers at how odd you may look. It is so much fun you lose all control!

After all the fun, we ended the night in the cafe, grabbing a bite to eat,which included ice creams and milkshakes. The perfect food for a gaming venue and truly delicious. Honestly, you will be grabbing more than one of these during your time there. 

Mulligans is the perfect venture to come to Hemel in recent years! The town has been seeking something new and fun like this and it truly delivers it, all at a very affordable price too. Spending hours and hours in there, you get every bit of your money back and more! The memories will truly last you a lifetime!
