Summer can be a great time to get some Vitamin D, however, our overall health can suffer quite a bit! From dry skin, weather provoked tiredness and swimming costumes causing intimate problems, the sun can wreak havoc with our bodies. There so, my family have put some new medical marvels to the test to help us all find just what might just save us!

As many of you know, I am not a fan of summer! I find that I suffer from SAD but during the warmer months instead of winter. There so, I always look for things to try and boost my mood, including health items! 

For me, my daily vitamins really help to make me feel better. However, I can only normally take the chewable ones, as I really struggle to swallow pills with water or food. I also look to find alternatives to boost my mood, such as better sleep, therapy and lots of fruit and vegetables. Plus, the daily dose of honey, which I know is sugar, but I don’t care aha! 

There so, when I was told about some new brands and products on the market, I was excited to find out more about them through research and testing. Starting with the delicious Lift Activ Energy Boost Chews. 

In four exciting new flavours, including Juicy Raspberry, Fruity Tropical, Zesty Lemon & Lime and Tangy Orange, the vitamins are a suggested energy boost, with added vitamins and minerals. Working to fight off tiredness and low energy, the chews are full of vitamin B complex that work right through from morning until night. 

Popping the first one around 10am, they got to work right away for my mum, who used the chews to help her get through work. Then when she came in, she took the second suggested chew, which gave her the lift she needed to do the rest of her daily tasks before bed. 

Placed in a packet much like pills you see that are dissolved in water, these are no faff chews that you can slip into your bag or cupboards easily, as they take up no room at all. My mum really suffers in the heat, as it makes her feel like she can’t do anything, due to her being too hot. However, these chews made her feel so much better. 

Out of all the flavours on offer, she loved the tropical and raspberry based ones best, as they gave that extra tang to the perky tastes. Talking me through each one, she told me that she would happily pay the £6 price bracket for the chews to continue to have them. The summer sun was officially beaten, as its energy zapping ways were gone in our home. 

With so much energy, we moved onto the next products. Earol is an olive oil based spray that helps to remove the build up of wax in the ear. All in a very safe many. With just one to two spritz’s in each ear twice daily, the product is applied for around five days, before seeing a doctor or getting further help if needed. Now, I must say that I swear by an ear spray to remove build ups in my ear. 

I love the feeling of being able to hear clearly again, an issue I have suffered with in my left ear since I had concussion and my fall. It’s like I am underwater when really bad and can lead to serious nausea. There so, I like to stop anything from going near it, in it or around it. Apart from the clearing ear sprays. 

Having never tried Earol before, I was excited to compare it to the other product I use. Applying it just before I got into bed, the first time I tested it, the spray fizzled for a bit before calming down. As soon as I woke up, I could sense a little difference. My ear and head oddly felt lighter. There was a little patch on my pillow, which I washed, of what I assumed was old wax, a fact I was both disgusted and a little amazed by.  

This wax continued to ease out of my ear over the coming days, until it stopped and oh my it felt so good to have it all gone. The dull ache and little noises cleared. My ear felt so much better and I even had a better feeling within my jaw, which causes me a bit of pain since I broke it. Compared to my other product, I was seriously impressed and will not be switching between the two to restore noise levels and to remove build up. 

Within the trial package, I also had a sample of their EarolSwim. This is a product I wish I had known about when I was younger. One time, after going to a water park, I had water stuck in my ear for days. It really would not come out and it left me an anxious mess for days, until one night it finally worked its way away from my ear. 

EarolSwim works to stop incidences like this from happening. Acting as a sort of ear plug, the spray stops water from going too far into the ear, meaning all water-based activities can be enjoyed and done safely. Even those that take place outside in unhygienic water. 

Due to my health, I am not allowed to swim. So, I did the next best thing to trial this. I applied it before I showered! Popping the spray into my problem ear, I could feel it forming a seal around my eardrum. Once it had stopped moving and making noises, I then popped my head under the shower head. Not too much, just enough to make an impact. The water literally ran away from my ear. 

After years of fearing of something happening like what did at the water park, this product has restored my faith in going under water. The seal faded after a few hours and my hearing remained clear and concise throughout. Honestly, it’s so impressed that I suggested it to my neighbour to buy some of for her young children who go to weekly swimming lessons. Out of everything I tried, this was the one I was most impressed by. It is perfect for those sunny days by the pool or sea for the whole family. 

The final products that we were sent to try were from Balance Activ. Working to improve the health of women and their intimate areas, the brand has launched a whole new set of products in the hopes to break the taboo surrounding both areas. In the parcel I was sent, I was gifted the intimate foam wash, wipes, probiotic supplements and BV treatments. 

For me, the idea and creation of products like these are key not just for summer but for life. During the summer though, we can really struggle with the heat. Especially down there. Having helpful aids, such as the wipes, mean that when out and about, we can refresh that area safely, whilst the wash does a similar job at home. With the probiotics also helping to cover all areas of our bodies. Including focusing in on our guts, we can ensure that the pub drinks and bbq goodness doesn’t cause any issues for us either. 

The brand has literally made a product launch look good whilst doing fantastic work to. For me, I think that all of these would be great for holidays or festivals to keep on top of your intimate health before it is too late. 

These items are fantastic for our upcoming summer outings, holidays or every day lives. Even going beyond the hot days, they can really help to make a difference to us. All of which for the better! Look out for them in shops and online now lovelies. The real winner is definitely the EarolSwim for me, which I couldn’t recommend to you enough. However, they are all fantastic in their own ways!
