Good Morning Lovelies, 

On International Women’s Day, I like to take a moment and thank the amazing women who have made me who I am today. Over the past year, I’ve seen the incredible work of some extraordinary women. They have run homes, worked and made one hell of an impact on the world. 

To start with, I have to praise endlessly my mother! The woman who makes me able to function. The last 12 months have been some of the toughest for her, yet she has soldiered on every step of the way. She has faced endless difficulties but still ended the day with a smile on her face. Even if it is a small one. She is the mum, friend, nanna and carer who always knows what to do and say. I honestly cannot thank her enough. I love her to infinity and beyond and always will. 

Another amazing woman in my life is my neighbour and surrogate sister, Casey, who has become my mum’s best friend. We have been banned from moving away because she needs us apparently. However, this past year has shown us how much we need her too. Her family has made us feel so welcome and I feel so inspired by her and her determination to make sure they have the best in life. 

My best friends, Dee, Tessa and Issy are also key figures in my life. Even if we don’t speak every day, I know that they will always have my back. Even if they are halfway around the world. I can see how much they have grown. I can see the joy they spread and it makes me so proud. 

An amazing woman that I am getting the chance to see grow up is my niece Lucy! She went up a role in the army this past year and it made my heart sore to hear. I can see her loving, caring and strong nature every time I see her. I see the determination she has to become what she wants to be. I have every single faith in her that she will get there. 

Finally, I have to thank the other amazing women in my life. My nephews mums, who are raising them both to be brilliant human beings. The women who have helped me in terms of my health and well-being. To the virtual friends who have shown me strength and courage always wins. To the women I pass on the street who show me the way and give me the confidence I need. To you lovely ladies reading this! Thank you for doing so! 

The world is filled with amazing people and today I will not only be celebrating the women above but all women! I’m so proud and inspired by you all! Now go fucking rule the world like you always do!
