My April 2023 Monthly Favourites

00:00:00

Good Morning Lovelies,

April was another month that went past in the blink of an eye. Honestly, I’ve heard so many people already discussing Christmas, due to the speed this year is going.

Luckily, I managed to fall and find a whole host of favourites this month, before it was all over…

My Favourite Book: My (Extra) Ordinary Life by Rebecca Ryan - My mum brought me this book at Christmas and after taking a month off reading I finally picked it up. From the first few pages, I was hooked in. I’m now struggling to find my next read because it was sooo good!

My Favourite TV Show or Film: Bluey - Okay, so hear my out! Yes, I know it is a kids show, but I love it. First thing in the morning or last thing at night, I like to watch an episode to try and calm me down for the day or night ahead. The little blue dog manages to do just that and I love the show for it.

My Favourite Food Find: Haribo Easter Mini Eggs - Suffering from anorexia has left me terrified of big chocolate eggs. However, I was not going to let ED the Dickhead take all my Easter fun. Discovering these little bags in Poundland, I managed to brave the little chewy multi-coloured egg shaped sweets on Easter Sunday. They are fab and I will be sad when they are all gone.

My Favourite Beauty Item: Asda Radiance Night Cream - With the ever changing weather in the UK, my skin has been suffering a lot. Especially in terms of dryness. However, this night cream, along with my Neutrogena day cream, has saved my life. Painful skin is now clearing up and heading out the door with winter.

My Favourite Podcast: Parenting Hell with Rob Beckett and Josh Widdecombe - After seeing this podcast being recorded live, it has made me love it even more. I now know a lot more about the heart that goes into it. It is my favourite one of the bunch.

My Favourite Experience: Parenting Hell Live - I know many of you will be thinking that I was going to say Easter, but I’m not actually that big of a fan. I do decorate, however I’m not heartbroken, like I am when Christmas is over, once the weekend has passed. Yet, I was sad when the Parenting Hell Live show ended. I had waited so long for it and it was incredible. I couldn’t praise it enough.

What were your favourite things from the month of April?
