My stomach has been through a lot recently lovelies! Something that has led me down a rabbit hole in trying to find products that can help it heal! Looking after my stomach has become very important to me ever since I was put on a lot of medication! It’s definitely a lot more sensitive than it ever was before, making it harder for me to try new or old foods that I may or have loved. Something that isn’t ideal when trying to overcome an eating disorder. 

I’m constantly on the lookout for items that will help to rebuild the good bacteria in my stomach. This includes looking into a lot of fermented items. There so, when the team at GOODIE’s reached out to me about their range of fermented drinks, I instantly wanted to know more. 

Made from all natural ingredients, each bottle comes with 96 different strains of bacterial cultures in them to help get the body to be at its best. With just one shot in the morning and another at night needed to help beat bloating, constipation, gas, skin issues such as acne and to rebuild the healthy gut flora lost when taking certain medications, it was like a miracle in a bottle to me. 

With the bacteria in each bottle alive and kicking from the moment it is placed into it, the drink is best served cold from the fridge. Replacing my normal Yakult, I decided to give it a go to see if it worked, in a drink like form. 

Having picked the Blackcurrant flavour, out of the four, which also included Sea Buckthorn, Chokeberry and Rye Malt, I was interested to find that it could be add into smoothies, yogurts, salads and drink, if you didn’t fancy it straight. Whilst I haven’t done it yet, I did wonder how it might make my porridge taste if I added it into the water upon cooking. 

Pouring out a shot, as instructed, I downed it in one and was amazed at the refreshing taste. Whilst it is quite strong, I was impressed, as I like my juices and squashes to be a bit overpowering I have to admit. Repeating this daily, I was amazed at how quickly it worked. My tummy was calmer and definitely less bloated. My skin looked less pale and the little white heads I suffer from were definitely reduced. 

I even found that I didn’t have to take certain medications anymore, which made me feel so much more confident within myself. I hate taking any drugs and with this I was glad I could stop. 

Whilst the bottles are priced at £39.99, I will admit that seeing and feeling the changes does make it worth the splurge. For me, I think I would definitely buy a bottle if I felt like I needed a complete body reset, as it has been a true gold star in helping me do so.
